Happy Hobbit Day!

The Precious is very sick and I am trying to distract myself from worrying about her by putting together a sort of shopping guide of my favourite hobbit and Lord of the Rings items. I think all of them are so cool, they really speak for themselves, so I will shut up for a change and let them talk.

Sing a Song of Science

I used to take songs or pieces of music and set things that I had to memorize for school to them. It was a great way for me to keep them in my head and there are some bits and= pieces I still remember to this day. *Hint* The Pink Panther theme is great for this!
But some people take this concept to a whole new level. You won't believe this guy!

My mind is blown.

Monday Spotlight on Tuesday: The Pink Picket Fence

Yes, this is not Monday. I know that. There is a reason we're having yesterday's post today, though it's a rather boring one. Yesterday I got to sleep at 5 A.M., so I was just too tired to think last night, let alone write a blog post. Oh, and The Precious was having a huge shrieking banshee fit because she had gobbled her food down Garfield-style and had a lot of gas. Under the circumstances, waiting to post seemed like a good idea.

I wanted to do this shop justice! The Pink Picket Fence has so many great items that I want for my own home that I can't help but want to recommend it. If you are like me and love everything shabby chic (and cast iron!), you have to check out The Pink Picket Fence! I had a hard time choosing items to showcase but finally picked these five.

A bottle opener for the wall is on my "one of these days when we have the money" list, and this just might be the one I end up choosing! How incredibly cool is the design?

I'm a cat person overall, but certain breeds of dogs are so cute that they just make me happy. Scotties are one of those breeds, and this is such a cute one!

I want this for my house! It would be so much prettier than the fake brass thing we have.

Fleur de Lis Towel Holder

Are you an Eiffel Tower freak like me? If so, you will enjoy the selection of colours that The Pink Picket Fence offers on their fun version. For instance, bright green!

Finally, the sweetest kitty cat hook! I can think of a million things to hang from it.

Believe me, this is only the tip of the iceberg! Check out The Pink Picket Fence today--gorgeous goodies abound!
